The Thornhill Homeowners'™ Association (Thornhill Community Association or TCA) is comprised of all Thornhill homeowners. Inclusion in the Association is mandatory based on our Conditions, Covenant and Restrictions. The Thornhill Community Association is organized as it is allowed under The Planned Community Act of North Carolina.
As with most communities, an elected board of directors acts on behalf of our Association. The Board of Directors provides many functions including creating and managing the annual budget, executing the terms of the association covenants, and ensuring our interests are considered with local government regarding growth or changes in the Ballantyne area. The Board of Directors also selects and implements selected projects that will add value to our community and maintain and enhance our quality of living.
To help manage the many facets of a successful community, the Board also directs and oversees various committees. These committees manage specific areas of activity, such as the community architecture and swimming pool, for Association members. As with the Board, the committees are made up of volunteer homeowners who serve as chairpersons and members. If you are interested in serving on a committee, please contact the Board. The Board of Directors meetings are open to the community. All the Board asks is to let them know if you would like to attend, to ensure adequate seating.
